"Memories of the forest "/"Wspomnienie lasu"

My all time favourite place to be is forest. The older and darker the better:)

Sooo I had to create this canvas!

The background is decorated with modeling paste and stencils, brown and green mists, metallic waxes  and stamps.

 Few nature elements are here on the canvas - moss, sticks, birch bark and pine's twigs. I added fern and ivy die cuts, some metal embelishments, art stones, cheese cloth, chipboards and frames....

And now it smells like forest too!

  

It feels like Clannad song "Ancient forest" for me:)

I built my composition around the framed picture and used two colors from the scheme.

Theatrical Journal

Recently I made a theatre & books themed journal with a mixed media cover.

The cover is inspired by Shakespeare's work, especially by "Romeo & Juliet" scene:

O, swear not by the moon, th' inconstant moon,

That monthly changes in her circle orb (...)

It's going to a new owner - a very talented theatrical and scrapbooking artist:)
